What is steel fabrication?
In simple terms, steel fabrication is the process of transforming raw steel into a final product. To achieve the final outcome, Kelly Steel undertakes cutting, folding, welding, machining, punching, casting, assembling, installation and other processes.
Where is Kelly Steel located?
Our 2000 m2 factory is located in the Melbourne suburb of Dandenong South. While our factory is in Melbourne, our service area is large and covers all of Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania.
What is Kelly Steel’s capabilities?
Our large factory and the skills of our people allow us to tackle the largest of industrial and commercial projects. However, this doesn’t mean we don’t take on small projects. We also handle bespoke architectural projects and small residential jobs.
What is Kelly Steel’s experience?
In a word, extensive. We’ve been operating for well over 30 years and many of our valued staff have been with us for a long time.
What industries do you serve?
Industrial, commercial and residential projects are the core of what we do. Our clients come from sectors such as industrial infrastructure, marine, telecommunications, retail, commercial building, warehousing, property development, residential building, major public projects and events.

What certifications do you have?
Kelly Steel Foundation is certified with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, ISO 45001 Health and Safety Management Systems and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
Do we have to provide my own drawings for projects?
You can, however, Kelly Steel also has the capabilities to undertake all design and drafting work in-house. Our drawings are completed with precision and accuracy, to ensure your project is completed successfully to your exact requirements. See our design and drafting page for more information.
