Kelly Steel’s work sometimes gives our people the opportunity to see and visit places most people don’t get the chance to. Such as a Victorian Correctional Centre.
Recently we designed, fabricated and installed a stair tower and access platform for one of the facilities. The steel fabrication project was what you could call a bread and butter item for us, even if the final location was a bit different.
Incidentally, across Victoria there are 11 publicly operated correctional facilities. There are also three privately operated prisons and one transition centre
