One of Kelly Steel’s latest projects has been to draft and fabricate beacon platforms for the Port of Melbourne.
If you live in Melbourne, or near any major waterway, you’ve probably seen these beacons before. They’re part of the system of beacons, buoys, seamarks and small lights that assist the safe and easy movement of vessels.
The platforms are required to allow access for workers providing any maintenance to the beacons.
