Kelly Steel was recently engaged to design, fabricate and install a steel platform and equipment housing for a substation.
The platform and housing will be used to house and protect valuable control equipment for the substation.
A substation is part of the electrical generation, transmission and distribution system. They are generally used to transform voltage from high to low – or reverse. They can perform several other important functions.
